Game Cube

2004

Game Cube was created in 2004 as part of the course Media Design 2. The objective was to develop and visually explore an original game concept with a strong spatial component.

The game is based on a cube-shaped, modular structure composed of interconnected rooms. One or more player characters move through the cube, claiming rooms by being the first to enter them. Victory is achieved by marking a predefined number of rooms in a specific configuration (for example, four rooms in a straight line).

Special room types introduce mechanics such as directional guidance, elevator-like movement, and the dynamic removal and replacement of rooms, continuously reshaping the play space. The focus of the project was on 3D modeling, spatial visualization, and the communication of gameplay mechanics, emphasizing conceptual and visual design over full technical implementation.
