Arche Neuenhagen

2005

In 2005, a new website was created for Arche Neuenhagen, an education and community center. The goal was to present its wide range of activities—from vocational training and youth work to cultural and leisure events—in a clear, up-to-date, and easily maintainable way.

The site was implemented using HTML/CSS and TYPO3. A key component was a custom TYPO3 extension for event management, developed by me and further extended for this project. It enabled structured handling of events, schedules, and related content, accurately reflecting the center’s active program.

From a design perspective, emphasis was placed on a welcoming visual language, readable layout, and intuitive navigation, supporting the organization’s social mission and community focus. The project combines web development, CMS extension development, and media design within a non-profit cultural environment.
