ETEO - Ein Team Ein Office

2016 - 2017

ETEO – One Team, One Office is a concept for agile and distributed collaboration that I co-developed together with external partners, grounded in long-term practical experience from distributed Scrum projects. The objective was to establish a coherent framework that enables organizations to apply agile principles effectively in distributed settings—beyond purely technical solutions.

My primary responsibility was the conceptual development and structuring of the ETEO model, translating practical insights into a coherent consulting and training approach. Rather than focusing on isolated practices or tools, ETEO was designed as a holistic framework addressing the interdependencies between project space, organizational setup, collaboration tools, and team dynamics.

A key part of my work involved developing ETEO into a reusable consulting offering, suitable for workshops, coaching engagements, and training formats. This included the design of a coaching toolbox and a value compass to support reflection, alignment, and continuous improvement within distributed teams. The emphasis was on applicability in real-world projects, with a strong connection to everyday team practices.

In addition, I acted as a trainer and speaker on topics such as agile and distributed work, distributed Scrum, and team collaboration. I presented and discussed the ETEO concept in training sessions, talks, and professional events, including international conferences. The approach was also documented and published in book form, providing a practical guide for organizations and teams working in distributed agile environments.
