Flash MP3 Player

The Flash MP3 Player, developed in 2006, was specifically created for the website of the Societaetstheater Dresden to provide audio content such as music and sound samples directly within the web interface. The player includes a playlist, progress and loading indicators, playback controls, and volume control, and could be flexibly integrated into existing page layouts.

Track titles and ordering are automatically extracted from the ID3 tags of the MP3 files and displayed dynamically in the playlist. In addition, the player evaluates the user’s available bandwidth prior to playback and adapts the audio quality accordingly, ensuring reliable streaming even on slower connections.
